Lorin, thanks for the info and clearing it up - 

In terms of sources, maybe I'm just easy going but I'm glad
to use whatever sources are available.  But then I'm the guy
who "restored" (excavated, more like it) an umpteenth generation
casette copy of a wire recording of 2 Cape Breton violinists
being accompanied by reed organ - because it was the best copy 
the could be found.

You got to use what you can get.
