Hassidic rock

For those of you who read Hebrew, there is an article about the Hassidic
rock scene in this weekend's Yediot Aharonot magazine section. Actually,
the article is pretty much a straightforward survey of the groups and the
types of music they play, without much analysis or commentary. The article
suggests that Hassidic rock is pretty much acceptable by the ultrareligious
community. This was surprising to me. Does anyone know of any halachic
controversy surrounding the suitability of musical styles generally
associated with drugs, sex, and general moral decay for religious audiences?
