Thanks for the National Writers Union info George. On that website the
following was written about the Writer's Market:
"...Many writers are of the opinion that the Writers' Market books published
by Writers Digest are packed with fraudulent, "business card" agents.
However, note that the magazine itself has responded well to NWU complaints
about ads by unscrupulous agents. "
There is a nice grievance link on that website which warns writers about
which bad eggs to look out for in the business. If the same existed for the
music industry (does it?) we could have a good chance at getting paid every
once in awhile. Josh
