You'd do somewhat better with Literary Market Place (LMP in the biz).
But you might also want to hear what writers think of their agents,
since both Writers Market and LMP info comes from the agents themselves.
For that, you could join the National Writers Union (I'm a member for
over 20 years) and check their agents' database which is based on
reports from writers who've dealt with the agents. Go to
http://www.nwu.org/ for more info.
Also, before you even begin that process, take a look at the
acknowledgements in books in your specific field or by authors whose
work you respect, and see who their agents are. There a gazillion agents
out there and you may want to narrow the search a bit right at the
start.
