Klezmer is now offered at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), 
University
of London. The teacher of the weekly performance classes is the music 
co-ordinator of
KlezKamp in USA and KlezFest London, none other than Merlin Shepherd.  SOAS 
also runs
both graduate and undergraduate courses in Jewish Music and has a full time 
lectureship
in Jewish music as part of a Department of Music that concentrates on the 
musical

I am trying to gather information on colleges and universities that offer
klezmer ensembles to students.  Does such a list exist, or do I need to
search universities individually?  Any information would be greatly
appreciated!
