Bob Paredes and Catherine Schieve

A friend is writing an article about Klezmer in Australia.

Does anyone know how if and when Bob Paredes(clarinet) and Catherine Schieve
(accordion) played in the Klezmer Conservatory Band ? also whether either or
both are still klezmering ?

The duo were in Australia in 1986 and a recording they made is still the
opening theme for "Music Deli" which is a long running national world music
radio program.
This seems to have been the first concert klezmer here, excepting some like
Leo Rosner.

The tune played was "Happy Nigun" as played/transcribed by Giora Fiedman.
Does anyone know the source of this tune? did Giora write it ?
Is it on one of the old recordings ? other source ? thanks Ernie
