I was not a big fan of Broza's, but he is a great showman and he knows how to
work a crowd.
David has been trying to break into the English music market for many years,
but has not been able to shake the "Israeli" image. A few years ago, he
performed at a popular "Hollywood" club in Los Angeles, (NOT KNOWN FOR
ISRAELI CLIENTELE).
He was there to introduce his new American (English) album. Naturally there
were many Israeli's there. Whenever he performed one of his English songs,
the (Israeli) audience was very disrespectful and kept yelling catcalls "Sing
Hebrew".. He finally stopped singing in the middle of one of his songs and
told them, " Show some respect, you're not in Israel!"
I've been a fan ever since!
