Oh, good grief. If you want to call Owen up (you're in the same
neck of the woods, as you know) or e-mail him privately, Wolf,
that's fine. But he's gone and won't see your message.

I do not know why he chose to lay the burden on you, but it is clear
that he was considering leaving for a long time. I do not believe that
your message was offensive to anyone on the list. I think rather that
Owen was tired for whatever reasons (and will hopefully return when 
he has relaxed, spent time away, whatever).

Unless you are leaving the list because you choose not to be part of
it, I do hope that you will reconsider.
