Balkan Music Workshops 2001

A while back Hankus posted an inquiry about the Balkan Music and Dance
Workshops.
Here's a minimal overview of the lineup for this year's camps.

These camps feature many great artists and teachers.
Singers take note: two world class singing stars - Merita Halili, who is
the most famous and most respected singer of Albanian song in the world,
and Kremena Stanceva, a Bulgarian super-star who has been a soloist with
the world reknowned Le Mystere de Voix Bulgares for four decades, will
be teaching at the East Coast Camp in Maryland. (Kremena will also be
teaching at the California camp.)
