Bas Sheva's mother was the famous lady cantor Sophie Kurtzer who pioneered
the role of the Lady Cantor with her 78s for Pathe in 1924/1925. She's
featured on the CD anthology "Mysteries of the Sabbath" (Yazoo) whose liner
notes were written by Cantor Sam Weiss and produced by yours truly.
