Re: children's music

Here's one with a Kid in it ( a baby goat in this case)

El Hama'ayan ( to the spring ). I think it's Yemenite, and it's done as a
call-and-response. We sang this as kids (ha, ha,) in Israel.

El hama'ayan - el hama'ayan
Ba gdi, ba gdi katan - ba gdi...
El hama'ayan - el ha...
Ba gdi katan - ba gdi...

Hashalom lo (or le', not sure) - hashalom...
LeLavan Ben Betu'el -leLavan...
Hashalom lo - hasha...
U-le'Rachel. - ule'Rachel...

By the way, the song that Lori suggested is a beautiful round!

I suggest Channan v'Aliza--it has an actual sheep in it.

  Chanan v'Aliza yakum ba-sadeh
  Chanan ha-roeh v'Aliza ha-seh!
  Meh...meh...

(Chanan and Aliza go out to the field
Chanan is the shepherd--Aliza, the sheep
  Baa...baa...)

  shabbat shalom
