In answer to your question Bob: I am not suggesting a boycott. Just that
if people are bothered by Kol Isha(as I am) that they not spend their money
at events/venues were it is in practice. A good rule of thumb for me has
always be to call the organizers of the event and see what's cooking. I just
ask directly if Kol Isha is in practice at the event. If I get there and it
is(because people may not have known who organized the event) I always ask
for my money back and/or raise a stink(albeit) politely. I refuse to not be
respectful of individual and group Jewish practices, but I always have the
right to express my opinion, whether someone wants to hear it or
not---too!!!
