Hi Willa,
2 years ago, I worked with other "Ashkenaz" people at a large community Purim
celebration in Toronto. A wonderful - funny and slightly off the wall -
Purimshpiel was written for the occasion by Michael Wex. I don't know if he's
on this list or not, or someone who knows him is, but if nobody speaks up, let
me know off the list and I may be able to help you contact him (though, of
course, I don't know if he'd "share").
Good luck,
Lenka Lichtenberg

Anybody have a good resource for Purim shpiels? It's my turn to coordinate
this for my synagogue. I'm looking for material that someone is willing to
share. We can't afford to by anything right now.
Does anyone remember one called My Fair Esther? It was popular in the early
70's. Done to the music of My Fair Lady.
Thanks,
Willa
