Jan Peerce Sing Songs From "Fiddler on the Roof"

I picked up a copy of "Jan Peerce Sings Songs from Fiddler on the Roof" and 
Ten Classics of Jewish Folk Song."  It is a wonderful album, with the 
original liner notes included. Does anyone happen to know who was the 
translator for the "Fiddler" lyrics, because the liner notes doesn't say who 
it was?
