RE: Jan Peerce Sing Songs From "Fiddler on the Roof"

No it wasn't. The songs were first sung by Shmuel Rudensky/Rodensky in a
theatrical production by one of the Yiddish theaters in Tel Aviv in the 1960's.
He later recorded it and it is a wonderful, wonderful record. I have the
record downstairs but no time to look for the translater. Peerce later
re-recorded those songs.

You can buy the whole Yiddish version of Fiddler at
http://store.yv.org/megofitman.html.
Our Simon must have it as well.
