      Speaking of the JAZZ SERIES on PBS, does anyone know anything about 
Willie (the Lion of Judea) Smith??? He was a stride pianist, African 
American and a practicing Jew. He was mentioned on one of the programs. I 
took care of his wife in the 1970s.
