Well, frankly I'm not much help, because I always stop at Kosher Delight
(46th and 13th Ave)
for a Double Delight Burger, the closest thing to a kosher Big Mac this
side ot Yeruhalayem. The advantage there is that everyone can get
what they want if everyone wants some kind of fast food - chicken,
chinese, burgers, dogs. The disadvantage is that its greasy fast food
and not everyone can stomach it or wants to.

But I so rarely eat meat, especially burger, that a trip to BP
is an excuse for good greasy bad food, so I never investigate
the better choices.

I know I've had a few really bad Chinese dinners around there and some
pretty good pizza (I'm refering here only to the kosher places). I
seem to remember the delis as "we'll NEVER go back there" kinds
of places. BUT if you can travel over to Church Ave between
McDonald and Ocean, check out Edna's (125 Church Ave) - still my favorite
kosher deli in the world, a place where they'll still come and show you
that you left over some perfectly good fish and cut it up for you.

But for good food, you might do better in Midwood. (Ave J off Coney
Island Ave). Also in Midwood I always used to enjoy
Weiss's Dairy Restaurant 1146 Coney Island Ave - a wide menu.

In general, you're on your own, since I moved "upstate"
(ha) 6 years ago, and a lot of these places go up or down hill
rather suddenly. Maybe someone else who still lives in the
area can better suggest.
