Re: Spike Jones & The Two-headed Drummer

I should have been more specific!
Earl Bennett sculpted a head to look exactly like Joe Siracusa's own head. A
special suit jacket was used to accomodate both heads. Spike would say to
the audience; "I was going to hire a guy with THREE heads, but I didn't
think you'd believe it!"
One night Joe drilled a hole in the back of the sculpted head and ran a tube
up to the head's mouth. He stood up during the show and let the head "take a
drag" off of his cigarette. Then he blew the smoke out of his own mouth. Joe
then proceeded to take a drag off of his cigarette, and the sculpted head
blew the smoke (talcum powder from a squeeze bulb) out of its head. "And now
the hard way", said Joe - he took a drag off of his cigarette, and Roger
Donley, the bass player, stood up and blew the smoke out of HIS mouth!
Is that all clear now?? I think I'm seeing double......
