"Charing Cross is a main railway station in the bustling heart of this great
metropolis."
Thanks for pointing it out Lucy.
YaD's next 'Naming the Golem' night will actually be in Covent Garden (a
close walk from Charing Cross station). It presents the launch of a new
project featuring MoMo (a British based Moroccan band who mix Berber, Chaabi
and Gnawa rhythms with house, trance and funk) and Britain's Oi-Va-Voi (who
infuse the traditional music of Sephardic Jews, Macedonian gypsies and the
Ashkenazi shtetl with the dub and breakbeat soundsystems of the Notting Hill
Carnival) and DJs Max Reinhardt and Nikki Lucas. THe night is the first of
series of the UK gigs leading to a tour in North Africa.
