Off the top of my head:
Calloway had at least a couple recordings of this nature- the aforementioned
Ut Da Zay, and one named A Bee Gezindt. Louis Prima recrded something called
Mahzel, and, of course, Benny Goodman always interspersed a bit of Klez with
whatever else he was doing, including a recording of 'And the Angels Sing'
in the 50's  (original done in the '30's with Ziggy Elman) featuring Manny
Klein from Mickey Katz's band.
