Re: Tr: looking for contacts in France

I think you mean Alain Karpati, grandklezmer (at) netcourrier(dot)com(dot)
There is
also a klezmer exhibit at a museum in Paris (cribbed from the Klezmer Calendar,
http://www.klezmershack.com/klezcalendar.html):

I would like to inform you that an exhibition about the origins and the current
state of Klezmer music has just opened at the Musée d'art et d'histoire du
Judaisme in Paris. Located in the resource center of the museum, it will run
until October 9, 2000. The Klezmer exhibit which has no accompanying catalogue
is part of an ensemble of five exhibitions devoted to Yiddish Culture at the
MAHJ.

If you would like more information, you can contact us by e-mail ipleskoff (at)
mahj(dot)org or by phone( 011) 33 1 53 01 86 36. Our address is 71 rue du
