Here's my educated recommendation......others will probably heartily

Get yourself a Thorens turntable. My model is lovely. It's a TD126 Mk II.
Look at eBay, or look in the "Buy 'n' Sell" (your community sales paper.)
Buy a Stanton 500 model cartridge from KABUSA.com, and, when Stanton come to 
their
suppy-and-demand senses, purchase a quantity of different sized styli for the 
various
sized grooves on 78rpm recordings.
Or, donate all of your Jewish records to me, and have me transfer them to CDs 
for
you!! ;)
