Why thank Living Traditions? Beyle Schaechter-Gottesman presented a
session of exactly the kinds of games Lori is looking for at Yidish-vokh
years ago. This is why I suggested to her privately that she should ask
Beyla, hence the list letter to Itsik.
You know there is a whole Yiddishist world in New York that has been
thriving for many years. Klezkamp and Living Traditions is a product and
inspiration out of the efforts and involvement of people who were effected
and touched by it. Klezkamp would not have happened if this world did not
exist in New York. I say this as an enthnographer and not just because I
am a Yugntruf activist for 30 years.
