Everybody in the middle east plays "Ya Mustapha" (or simply Mustapha).
Another good one is "Kol Halayla" which Ruby Chen had a hit recording of in
Israel in 1985; it's based on an Arabic mega-hit. Brandwein's Terk in
America is based on a Turkish Song (discussed here) also known throughout the
Middle East, as would be Miserlou (perhaps a bit too obvious) or the
Hassapiko known in Yiddish as "Alz Far Gelt."
