REMINDER: Internet broadcast tonight 9pm US EST

This is a reminder that "Rockin' the Shtetl," the weekly Jewish music radio
program based at WCFM in Williamstown, Mass., will be broadcast over the
Internet tonight (Monday, March 13) from 9-10pm US Eastern Time at
http://wso.williams.edu/orgs/WCFM/realaudio.html.

Tonight's broadcast will be the last before a two-week hiatus, as WCFM shuts
down for the next two weeks while students are on "spring break." (Ah, to be
a college student again....)

Last week's typically diverse playlist included selections by Margot
Leverett, Finjan, Klezmokum, Yale Strom, Flying Bulgars, Frank London, Roy
Nathanson and Anthony Coleman, Craig Taubman, Rabbi Shefa Gold and David
Shneyer.

"Rockin' the Shtetl" also features concert announcements and readings from
classics of Jewish literature such as the Shulkhan Arukh, Leo Rosten's "Joys
of Yiddish," and George Robinson's "Essential Judaism."

Hope to see some of you there.

Seth Rogovoy
author of "The Essential Klezmer: A Music Lover's Guide to Jewish Roots and
Soul"
coming in eight weeks from Algonquin Books of Chapel Hill

?An informative and entertaining guide?.Seth Rogovoy lucidly explains what?s
culturally significant about klezmer; better yet, he captures the music?s
fun.? ? jazz critic Francis Davis, author of "Bebop And Nothingness" and
"The History Of The Blues."
