Thanks for mentioning this great song!
If anyone's actually going to sing it, Bessies words are "I need a little hot
dog
ON my roll", and then later on it becomes, "between my rolls." (Yikes!)
(Since it's Black History Month, I happened to have performed this particular
song as part of a tribute to the great ladies of the blues several times over
the
last couple of weeks, so it's really nice to see it come up on this list.)
