I am trying to assist (in a small way) Dr. Rainer Lotz in his important 
research into commercial recordings of Jewish music in the 1930s in Germany, 
specifically on the Lukraphon, Semer and Achva labels and their recording 
artists. He has asked if anyone has biographical information on Arturo Pincas 
from Sofia, Bulgaria. (Evidently Cantor Pincas recorded at least some Sephardic 
repertory.)
