Subject: Knitting on the Roof

Listening to this unusual recent release (as background music, so
don't expect a review here).  It's a variety of interpretations of
Fiddler on the Roof numbers, many of Knitting Factory regulars.  The
musical approaches are somewhat diverse -- everything from sampling to
guitar/banjo renditions.

Already struck the inclusion of Lorin Sklamberg singing the Sabbath
Prayer in Yiddish with Uri Caine on piano.

Anyone else hear this one?
