Hi, this is a literal translation of the song recorded on our first 
Gerineldo recording, "La novia destrenza el pelo". It's a Moroccan 
Judeo-Spanish wedding song which I've recorded many times from community 
people. But I wonder whether BenZaquen includes the REALLY bawdy verses in 
her version....let's put it this way: we never used to include those two 
verses in synagogue gigs. (what's the label, please? Thanks) Judith
