Hi, I'm not sure whether my message went through because the screen did 
something funny so just in case, here goes again (sorry if it's a duplicate 
but I'll try to add something different!) Anyway, this is a translation of a 
song which we recorded back in the early 1980's on our first GERINELDO 
cassette (now on CD), a Morrocan Judeo-Spanish wedding song, "La novia 
destrenza el pelo". But I wonder whether Ben Zaquen includes the REALLY 
dirty verses, which we never used to include for synagogue gigs . The idea 
was, in the "old days", that women mostly sang these things amongst 
themselves, not much in mixed company.  btw, what's the label? Cheers,
