Some comments on the Zohar disk:
Really nice stuff- Uri Caine is probably as musically omniverous as his pal
Don Byron- at the same time I got the Zohar disk, I got a disk called 'Tin
Pan Alley- The Sidewalks of New York'- Uri Caine off somewhere 180 degrees
removed from Zohar, doing Tin Pan Alley! The guy definitely has taste and
chops. Really nice percussion on the Zohar disk too, as well as a tip of the
hat to the great Salim Halali.
