Re: Residents



There has always been something slimy and low about The Residents which
leaves a bad taste in my mouth- maybe it's a religion thing. Despite that, I
used to find them interesting musically. The album you mention is fairly
old- a takeoff on 60's pop music with the premise that hippie music is
fascist. Once upon a time this music might have meant something. The way I
feel now, though, I think The Residents really suck- their current output is
just as dreary as their attitude, and I'm too sickened to go back and check
out their older stuff again.
