I am forwarding this per Binyumin's request.
I went to a concert of their's last June at HUC and the chorus sounded
truly, truly wonderful.
I don't like choral music, but this chorus won me over big. I highly
recommend them.

CAN YOU CARRY A TUNE?
DO YOU LIKE YIDDISH MUSIC?
DO YOU ENJOY THE SOUND OF 4-PART HARMONY?
If you have answered yes to these questions, and if you will be
living in the New York metropolitan area this coming year, you may
be interested in singing in the JEWISH PEOPLE'S PHILHARMONIC CHORUS.
You do not need to be able to read music, to read Yiddish, or to
speak Yiddish. The chorus meets on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. from
September to June at Dorot, 171 West 85th St in Manhattan, and gives
several concerts a year. There are 40 members in this chorus and the
conductor is BINYUMEN ("BEN") SCHAECHTER.
If you are not available but you know others who would be
interested, feel free to pass this information on to them.
