Re: Kol Simcha



I have a review of one of their albums up on the klezmer shack.
I found them rather sterile--a sort of deracinated klezish jazz
(with some classical influences, I guess). Last time this came
up, several people posted about the band as quite pleasurable.
By me, they are the klezish equivalent of '70s George Benson--
innoffensive, pleasant, and reasonable for elevators, if there
must be music in elevators.
