Help plan my trip

Hi-- I'm planning a trip from April 17 through May 2.  Will start in Vilnius
(Vilna), Lithuania, then travel through Brest, Belarus (grandparents from here),
then on to Cracow, follow the Carpathians through Southern Ukraine and Romania. 
I leave May 2nd from Budapest.

Would love if anyone has recommendations on things to see (especially music
related), doors to knock on, or other advice.
