I don't believe that I know of the recording you are referring to, but
I'd love to.

Alberta Hunter's "I Love You Much Too Much/Ikh Hob Dich Tzufil Lieb"
(Yiddish/English Version) (adlib) is a comeback recording (#3) on "The
Glory of Alberta Hunter" Columbia  FC 37691 (LP) (1982).
