sorry, Andy, this isn't to offer more information as I don't have any other 
than yours via Ruth's book - just to add a note that it's one of the songs we 
sang most often in summer camp, and which I remember best. Though I do vaguely 
remembering, knowing
very little about Israel (Israel and I are almost the same age), wondering
what Jews, especially Jewish women, had to do with tractors... Judith
