Re: Shavuot music

Does anyone else know about these recordings? I hope that the singers
didn't croak.

Lo and Behold! I just did a bit of first layer digging and discovered
a Ktav Publishing House 45rpm by Judith K. Eisenstein, piano and sung
by Emanuel Rosenberg of Hanukkah songs (including one of my wife's
favorite ditties, "In My Window"). I guess I'll give it a spin
tonight.

Bob

P.S. There was also a "Holiday Series" on LP produced by the Jewish
Education Committee of N.Y. selected and directed by Harry
Coopersmith. I have at least the Hanukkah and Sabbath discs. Another
one for tonight. I believe that my sister and I were given copies of
the Sabbath LP for singing in our synagogue's children choir. And
that we used Coopersmith's anthology as our group's primary source of
songs. We actually like Hebrew school.
