The solution?  - start organizing for this in September or even June and find

In years past, we tried to organize productions around Chanukah for our
congregation.  Many of the people we spoke with were unavailable because they
regularly volunteer for Christmas productions.  I am just disappointed at so
many Jews who expend countless hours helping with productions of  the Messiah
or the Nutcracker instead of helping  inspire other Jews with productions of
Jewish content.
