         SHOSHANA DAMARI TO PERFORM AT CARNEGIE HALL 

              ZAMIR CHORAL FOUNDATION CONCERT

                 DECEMBER 20th at 8:00 pm

The legendary Israeli artist, SHOSHANA DAMARI, will be featured in the
musical Hanukkah celebration "Ancient Wonders, Modern Miracles" presented by
the Zamir Choral Foundation under the direction of Matthew Lazar.  The
concert, to be held on Sunday 20 December, is the "Israel at 50 Grand Finale."

SHOSHANA DAMARI has achieved international acclaim.  Her songs have special
significance for her many audiences as many of her songs were born with the
State of Israel.  She has been awarded numerous prizes in recognition of her
talents and her contribution to Israeli culture, including Israel's Emmy
Award, OMANEI ISRAEL, and, on the 40th anniversary of Israel's Independence,
she was presented with the prestigious ISRAEL PRIZE.
