Ladino recordings

Isabelle-- Thanks for the calendar.  I have an Alhambra cassette at home
& I love it.  Can you (or anyone else) recommend other good
representative recordings of Sephardic music?--  I'm particularly
interested in instrumental music, but don't know where to start.

We have been getting many requests for Ladino.  We carry approximately 80
difenrent Ladino Cds at this time and we're always looking for more. Some of
the people on this list have been very valuable in our search, especially Joel
Bresler.

We recently shipped a large order of Ladino Cds by Gerard Edery to Europe. We
have actually sold more of his CDs to Europe then in the us....Gerard lives in
New York, and it is surprising that the "local" consumers haven't caught on to
his music.

Periodically, I will submit Ladino recordings to Ari for review.  This is some
of the best music out there and it's surprising that 80% of the Ladino buyers
are Ashkenazi!!!
