Re: Yiddish Concert in Hartford, CT

For any new yorkers thinking about the distance to hartford:

By train it seems to be about 2 and a half to 3 hours, depending.
By car, more like 2 hours, I think.
By the way the Nov 22 concert is one of 3 performances at Charter Oak Center
that weekend, including a Friday night service in the style of the 1890s.  You
can get more info about the other performances, directions, etc., by calling
Charter Oak at 860-249-1207.

For a group of 4 or 5 people, renting a car would probably be cheaper than the
train anyway.
