Hmm, I wouldn't be so quick to say so. Certainly there's use of bagpipes
in the Balkans - and therefore in Balkan-influenced klezmer. And there's
certainly bagpipes in Sephardic music.
Besides, I'll take bagpipes over almost any instrument any day of the
week (Although clarinet runs close to second). Accordians just can't moan
in quite the same way. No offense to accordian players. I just *like*
bagpipes better.
