Call for Scores
The Relâche Ensemble announces a call for scores. For the first time in 18
years the Relâche Ensemble is presenting a holiday concert on December 8 &
9, 1995. We are looking for short works (5 maximum) on holiday themes.
Eligible are original compositions or reworkings of familiar Chanukah
music.
Relâche is an 8 member performing ensemble founded in 1977 dedicated to
the development, and performance of music by living composers. The current
instrumentation is flutes (picc, alto & bass) / oboe & English Horn /
Soprano, Reeds (alto saxophones clarinet, bass clarinet) / bassoon
(French) / viola / bass & elec. bass, keyboard (piano, DX5, Kurtzweil) and
percussion (keyboard, Latin, hand percussion, not trap-set right now).
