I'd like to reccomend our composer in residence with the Phoenix
Symphony Ochestra, Daniel Asia. His Symphony No. 2(1990) has five
movements: Ma Tovu, Ashrenu, L'kha Adonai, Hine El Yeshuati, and
Halleluyah. It is subtitled "In Memoriam Leonard Bernstein" and "is
Asia's most explicit musical expression of his deeply felt sence of
Judaism." It can be found on CD along with Symphony No. 3(1991) from New
World Records.
