Translation:
The past is no more, the Future has not happened yet,
and the present is but a flash of the eye,
So from where (why) is your despair?
Meaning: (IMHO)
You can not change the past, nor control the future. What matters is to do
the correct thing right now. Don't get caught up in matters beyond your
control.
