[HANASHIR:3343] avinu malkeinu

I'm approaching my first year as high holiday cantorial soloist.  The
former guy sang Janowski's Avinu Malkeinu at every service without
changing the lyrics to match the prayer book.  The rabbi has asked me to
fix that.  He gave me a couple of different musical versions of Avinu
Malkeinu with the Yom Kippur words but I would rather use Janowski's
version if his melody has been adapted to fit the Yom Kippur words.  Has
it been?  If not, what do you all do to deal with the word variations?
