[HANASHIR:3336] Re: Great music!

A couple of you asked about the music from this year's HN. While I don't
know about the written music, I'll give you a few ways you can hear some of
the newer stuff. The infamous "Od Yavo Shalom" song (which was sung
somewhere between 25-40 minutes in the dinning hall, depending upon whom
you believe) has already gotten much discussion and is available on CD by
Sheva, right everyone? We did several pieces of music from Craig Taubman's
recording Friday Night Live, a must for new Shabbat service ideas, and a
couple of the wonderful songs from Danny (Don T.) Maseng's Soul on Fire
recording, including my personal favorite, "Mah Tovu". I don't know if
"Shifera and Pooah", "Nachshon" (both Friedman) or "Honi" (Klepper) have
yet made it onto recordings, but they sure were fun songs, and I'll be
anxious to hear if they do. Anyone else have any sources for the newer
music? So much was new to me, even the "traditional", that I'll be
scrounging myself to find it. Enjoy!!!

Shabbat Shalom, Chaverim
Kristin
