I am not as much uncomfortable with the term gospel as I am with the idea of
Jews having to compete with or measure up to or be LIKE other kinds of music
and other cultures.  Debbie Friedman's song will sound great with a big gospel
choir, but just her and a guitar does so much for me (and others) Jewishly.
As far as Xtian Judaism, those lines are becoming more and more blurred all
the time...i.e., the number of seders conducted at churches these days.  I'll
be quiet now.
