Oops! Please note a corrected dreaded-code of S'vivon below.. There
should be no sixteenth notes in the way I was trying to code it..
No, this was not a conscious attempt to make yet another
plug for counts! I'm really okay with the more
standard system. ... Honest... No, really I am...
As for a subconscious attempt ... well... if I were aware
of what went on in there, it wouldn't be subconscious, now
would it?
Sorry, Judy!
I guess the serious point that does arise out of this is,
if there is a published version, should one try to code it in the
same time signature? or does it matter?
(In this case, I don't recall if the published versions have
4/4 with quarter, half, and eighth notes, or 2/4 with eighth, quarter,
and sixteenth notes).

Time signature 4/4
key signature 1 flat (D minor)
1 = whole note
2 = half note
2. = dotted half
4 = quarter note
4. = dotted quarter
8 = eighth note
8. = dotted eighth
9 = sixteenth
and if you need 32nd notes, you probably don't
want to try to do it at all.
Notes used: A- C# D E F G A Bb
(A- I'm using to refer to A near the
bottom rather than middle of your vocal
range, also indicates very good but not
perfect.))
